The route begins in Gangotri and takes you to Bhoj Kharak, a campsite at 3,780 meters, through dense forests with views of the Bhagirathi peaks. From Bhoj Kharak, the trek continues to Kedar Kharak at 4,238 meters, passing through meadows and offering panoramic views of the Thalay Sagar and Jogin peaks. The final stretch from Kedar Kharak to Kedartal involves challenging ascents and descents, but rewards trekkers with breathtaking views of the Gangotri range and the serene Kedartal Lake.
